Today we had a little lay in after our long walk last night to find the swiming pool. Decided to wait until the Anderton Lift opened at 10 AM. It had a good museum which was free but we declined to pay £15. 00 each to have a ride on a canal boat on the lift.
Cruised to Sandbach and moored a little before the town with the idea of going to Chester via train: found the rail station which was 2 miles from town centre, so decided to walk back to the boat instead. (Sandbach to Crewe. Crewe to Chester.)
